For those residents who might want to spend some time indoors, the fitness center provides a comfortable
environment and workout options no matter the resident's abilities. The room includes cardiovascular and weight equipment as well as an area for core activities.
Residents can always walk along the boardwalk to Independence Park which is adjacent to Stone Harbour. Independence Park is not only the starting point of the East Bay Bike Path but also a good starting point for kayakers going out into Bristol Harbour. The bike path spans 14.5 miles along the shores of Narragansett Bay linking Bristol to downtown Providence. Kayakers paddling south from the park will take a route along Bristol's historic waterfront, a route that could entail a two (2) to four mile (4) trip. |
